Corflute – what is it?
Corflute is an extremely versatile, extruded twin-wall plastic sheet. Being more durable and versatile, it is an excellent substitute for poster board or card stock for interior applications. Its surface is not affected by most oils, solvents or water, so it may also be used outdoors.
Corflute is aligned with flutes that generally run horizontally across the width of the sign. There is a slight detection of lines when looking at the material.
By cutting through the first corrugation only, you can create A-frame signs or table tent signs. The cut will also allow the sign to be folded and carried in a briefcase or suitcase.
Corflute panels can also be inserted into metal A-frame signs. These work great if you want a sign system you can quickly and frequently change.
Sizes
Corflute comes in two standard sheet sizes, these are 1220 x 1830mm and 1220 x 2440mm. There are two thicknesses available, 3.5mm and 5mm. For multiple orders of signs it is recommended that you choose a size that can be economically cut from these sheet sizes. Colours
The standard colours available are black, white, yellow, red and blue, although we can cover the material is self-adhesive vinyl if required to get a whole new range of colours.
